About the Poet
Lisa Hamilton (b. Orange, California) uses her practice to examine the pull of the natural world. Through words, movement, texture, and weight she explores nature’s relation to the fragile, yet the resilient landscape of the body.
Her visual works have been shown nationally and internationally. She is a member of the American Crafts Council and The Society of North American Goldsmiths. Lisa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing/Jewelry with a minor in Art History from Missouri State University in 2017 and is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing/Jewelry from University of Kansas.
