Werther Germondari born in Rimini, Italy, in 1963, lives and works in Rome, since 1988. He is a visual artist, performer and independent filmmaker. He studied art, performance and music at the University of Bologna and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia’ in Rome. Interested in innovative experimental dynamics that are neo-conceptual and situational, characterized by a taste for the ironic and surreal, Werther Germondari has experimented since the ’80s through many different expressive media (from painting, installations, photography to film and live performance), focusing attention on hidden elements, related to every day, social and political vision.
